And even at their worse writting, William Gibson and Bruce Sterling, the grand
poobahs of cyberpunk, and both high-paid "futurists", provide incredible
insigth into the class struggle and how they might develop in the next 100
years. They are worthy both as excercises in fiction and as political comentary.
In particular, the series of short stories by Bruce Sterling on political
islam, from the straight up sci-fi (in the name of Allah, The Compassionate,
the Digital), to the relevant and satirical view of the USA ("We see things
differently)
