Re: [Marxism] WTC collapse

investigation, let alone explanation, of why and how WTC7 collapsed?"

(Die Welt, at: <http://www.welt.de/> is a German national daily
newspaper published by the Axel Springer company.... founded in Hamburg
in 1946 by the British occupying forces.... The average circulation of
Die Welt is about 209,000 currently, and the paper can be obtained in
more than 130 countries. Daily regional editions appear in Berlin and
Hamburg, and in 2002 the paper experimented with a Bavarian edition. A
daily regional supplement also appears in Bremen. The main editorial
office is in Berlin, in conjunction with the Berliner Morgenpost.)

On September 11th, 2001, the German newspaper, Die Welt, published the
following info, with respect to the 9/11 events; the first anniversary
(of same); and, in particular, re. one Mr. Larry Silverstein:

"...the Harbor Authorities of New York and New Jersey were the owners of
the WTC. The two towers, 412 meters high, were completed in 1972 and the
costs then amounted to 37 million Dollars.... Subsequently, "....the
towers [became] a desirable address for corporate businesses. From the
completion of the buildings[,] the entire office space had always been
rented and the rents produced a great return for the owners.... 430
companies from all over the world, rented approx. 3.3 million square feet
office space in the WTC. More than 40,000 people were employed in the
towers."

On October 11th, 2001, it was published in Die Welt, re. Mr. Silverstein,
that: "Only three months before the attack, Silverstein signed a rental
contract for the WTC. Silverstein agreed to pay over 99 years a total of
3.2 billion dollars in leasing installments to the Port Authorities: 616
million as an initial payment and then, annually, 115 million Dollars.
The Port Authorities remained the owners of the WTC."

The previous day, on October 10th, 2001, they'd published that: "Larry
Silverstein, since July landlord of the towers, demands from the insurers
7.2 billion Dollars compensation, his speaker (?), Steve Solomon,
said.... The Port Authorities of New York and New Jersey, owners of the
WTC, agree with Silverstein's demand."

Fast forward now, one year later, to Sept. 10th (at 10 pm, EST), 2002,
when PBS aired a (1st Anniversary) documentary (for the NOVA series)
entitled, "America Rebuilds."

During the program occurred the following colloquy, between an
interviewer (from PBS), and Mr. Silverstein, from which the following
transcript is excerpted:

In the documentary, Silverstein makes the following statement:

"I remember getting a call from the, er, fire department commander,
telling me that they were not sure they were gonna be able to contain the
fire, and I said, 'We've had such terrible loss of life, maybe the
smartest thing to do is pull it.' And they made that decision to pull
and we watched the building collapse."

The entire video, including Silverstein's remarks quoted above, may be
obtained from PBS,

Alternatively, the relevant mp3 audio clips (from the PBS video) may be
heard,

There's also an Open Letter to Larry Silverstein (WTC Lease Holder), re.
Building no. 7, and his remarks, re. WTC 7, from Kyle Hence,

at:

(Unfortunately, I've no info, as yet, concerning a response, from Mr.
Silverstein, if any, to Kyle's open letter)

What may be reasonably inferred (and which makes the most sense) by his
reference to "pulling it" (to my mind anyway), would be that he meant,
"pulling" a lever, one intended to "trigger" a pre-wired explosion.

If you haven't seen the video of WTC 7's collapse, you really should
track it down, and give it a thorough look.

One place to start looking for it, might be any of Alex Jones' sites:

at: <http://www.starseedtech.com/smoking_gun/>.

at: <http://www.infowars.com/print/Sept11/FDNY.htm>.

at: <http://www.infowars.com/print/Sept11/pp_fdny.htm>.

The video makes it blatantly obvious (that is to say, conspicuous), why
the 47-story WTC 7, which was hit by nothing, collapsed, nonetheless.

Integrate what you can see in the video, with your own 'naked eye,' in
conjunction with Silverstein's verbatim account, and presto.... what's
true (as distinct from "the truth"), can be readily seen to have been a
pre-wired explosion.

But try to forget, for the moment.... about "conspiracy theories," or
other mindless (and obstructionist) epithets.

Also try to set aside, just for the moment, whether you like Alex Jones,
or despise him. (It's irrelevant).

(And, as Sgt. Joe Friday, from Dragnet, used to say, just gimme "the
facts, mam.")
