Carlos, Marxmail was created as an alternative to screaming "We are Reds,
We are Here!". You might give some serious thought to whether you are in
the right place. Out of the dozens of subscribers who post here on a daily
basis, none has ever come up with a formulation like that. In 1968 shortly
after I joined the Trotskyist movement, I began to read tons of socialist
literature and proselytize to anybody who would listen, including the guys
who sat in adjacent desks at Metropolitan Life. One guy, Huey, was a
retired fireman and devoted Catholic who would just laugh when I began
talking about the need for a revolution. I think that everybody who has
ever joined a socialist group goes through an evolution like that. But most
of us get over it and begin focusing on the task at hand. After reading
your posts on the Greens, I am beginning to feel a bit like Huey.
