Reading this about the problems of the recruiters I am
reminded of Frantz Fanon's story about the torturer who had
psychiatric problems and wanted Fanon to cure him so he could
go back to torturing.

I am also encouraged at the evidence of the growing
resistance among the poor generally targetted by the
recruiters, passive though that resistance may be, to paying
the price for doing the dirty work of American Imperialism
