I never suggested it at the time, for fear that someone would say "So
go out and do it!", but now that that threat is gone, I suggest that a
possible strategy would have been to form a "Socialists for Nader and
Camejo" organization.

I know, of course, that some socialist organizations did endorse the
campaign, but my concept would be an independent organization that
included members of those organizations if they wished to join but
organizationally directed towards independent socialists.

Should anyone wish to respond, perhaps we should exclude the technical
difficulties of such a campaign in the 2004 election, in light of the
ballot status problem, etc. I think that the emphasis should be on it
as a strategy in general.
