Lou, first, I agree with you on the correct attitude towards the DP
(though I reached it without ever reading a word by Camejo: in fact I've
held it since 1966).

But the non-sectarian, non "m-l" party you want is _either_ going to
include an awful lot of people who prefer Davidson's history to yours --
_or_ it's not even going to come into existence.

I'm quite sad that Carl has gone down the CoC route and (to my view)
temporizes with the DP, but his history and mine are about the same, and
if I had it to do over again I would still prefer the New Communist
Movement to the SWP.

Do you want a new movement now, or do you want the old SWP movement
merely with its errors corrected?
