If you want a GOOD example of an oxymoron, look at those countries who
call themselves "democratic" ("people's power") yet have a parliament,
or congress  which is sovereign and whose members claim that they are
answerable only to their conscience. Or even a President who can veto!

The only democracy on this planet is Switzerland, and since no-one seems
to be concerned about that - despite their governments, usually with
passive support of the opposition, going to war, liberalising the
economy, despite the lack of any mandate from the people to do precisely
those thing, and even despite their opposition - we can only suppose
that we are all mutton heads.

Now there is this matter of communism, state-ownership and non-ownership
in Marxism - i still haven't worked that one out yet.

In fact, linux, GNU etc. seem to have cracked that owymoron of owning
something that isn't owned by anybody.

AH! If only the first americans had declared America to be under some
sort of GNU licence.

They would have been called the GNU indians.
