I must quote Trotsky on this:

be branded with infamy, if not with a bullet."

Yeah, he doesn't mention China, but this is a principle.

The imperialist country socialist that doesn't support the continued armed
struggle on the part of the PRC to liberate Taiwan from the imperialist
protectorate deserves to be branded with infamy, if not a bullet.

That is the bottom line.
