Petit-bourgeois philistine dilletante greetings,
M. Junaid Alam
Ha!
But this has prescedent, the whole of the bolshevik leadership opposed
Lenin's line on the February Revolution, I am sad to say it includes Stalin
among those, and he called them collectively "Old Bolsheviks", reserving
particular scorn for Zinoviev (my pet fall guy).
Some people, regardless of epoch and ideology, can't see a revolution only
after it has already been old news, and even then fail to see it.
An Chavez's Proceso has such revolutionary potential, and such revolutionary
content, it even meets the criteria set forth by the anarchist Emma Goldman,
you can dance to its tune...
As with anything, it isn't perfect, it isn't even post-capitalist in any
meaningful way, but it is one of the clearest examples of post-Cold War
revolutionary energy and possibility. To deny this is to deny
Bolshevism-Leninism, not to mention common sense.
