[Marxism] Janet Jagan - Thunder in Guyana IMPORTANT

The New York Times article of Feb 22, 2005 by Virginia Hefferman contains a 
factual error. Speaking of Janet Rosenberg, it says ?At Wayne State University 
in Detroit, she turned radical; ?"

In actual fact, she was radicalized much earlier. I first met her in the fall 
of 1941. She was a student at Michigan State College, now Michigan State 
University in East Lansing. I was a freshman and I was looking for the local 
YCL (Young Communist League) She wrote a letter to the editor of the student 
newspaper which struck me as being similar to the editorial in the Daily Worker 
on the need to fight a war against Nazism. This was before Pearl Harbor.

I looked up her telephone number in the student directory and arranged to meet 
her. She  brought the local head of the YCL with her.
