Re: [Marxism] Any statistics on corporate illegality?
Statistically, one modest sign of social progress within the USA itself is
the observed reduction of reported violent crime (most violent crime does
tend to get reported).
Jurriaan
Actually, I would say most violent crime is not reported, such as rape,
domestic abuse (both spousal and child). Although there seems to have been some
progress concerning the recognition of the criminality of violence against
women, children are still considered to be personal property to be physically,
sexually and severely mentally abused. And in those fairly rare instances
abused children are taken out of the offenders' homes, they are often placed in
foster care which has its own reputation for severe abuse. The perpetrators are
rarely prosecuted. And those children's lives are often ruined.
