It is incredible how many people are able to "choose" not to work their
profession in the imperialist countries and still scrape a living. Even in
Puerto Rico, thta is a luxury few can afford.

Which speaks a lot of what you mention:

I don't like the RCP-USA that much, and much less the MIM, but they do
exhibit a certain creativity in this regards in the USA. Their relevant
contributions, some of which I find theoretically important (especially
MIMs) do get lost behind a bunch of jargon, idiotic sectarianism, and
political stupidity, but if you listen carefully you can extract something
useful. In particular the development and explorations (althought not the
outlandish conclusions of the MIM) around labor aristocracy and
super-explotation as a phenomenon...

But on the question of race relations in the USA, my biggest influence is
the "post-marxist" (rather post-Maoist) "Race Traitor" journal. Their
incredibly catchy and dialectically masterful slogan of "Treason to
Whiteness is Loyalty to Humanity!", while lack a certain class tinge, and
being somewhat metaphysical, is still in my opinion one of the closest
synthesis to what must be the key to solving the "race problem" in the USA
(which indeed has a very different racial culture than most countries in the
world).

It ranks way up there in the top next to the Situationist slogan of "Abolish
Alienated Work!" in my not-ML-but-ultra-correct-nevertheless scale...
