Thanks for this David. My vague recollection was that similar oaths had long
ago been declared unconstitutional.
Of course today, who knows how the ruling would go. And I'm sure liberals like
Hillary "Keep the troops over there until I get re-elected" Clinton will be
demanding reinstatement of loyalty oaths for CUNY etc.
The Colorado oath must be mobilized against!

Annually updated and renewed loyalty oaths? Oh, yeah. Having college
faculty do this would definitely have saved the U.S. from September 11.
What a wonderfully meaningless and typically bureaocratic bit of CYA....
Has this country ever convicted a spy or a terrorist or a traitor of any
sort who did not, at some point, take a loyalty oath?
