Myself, I see several points.

1. Louis sets an example for all of us by refusing to concede any ground to
these people because of their credentials. When Louis holds his own or
wins, as he usually does, he helps to demystify the Academy.

2. Louis's exchanges with flatulent liberals can now be found all over the
Internet, and it was one of those exchanges that brought me to this list in
the first place.

3. I find them hugely entertaining.
