To the extent the liberals lend cover to the attack on Ward they must be gone 
after hammer and tong. Earlier in this thread someone asked why they didn't see 
the danger they were doing to themselves, and I couldn't believe no-one had yet 
raised the parallels with how liberals paved the way for the 1950s witchhunts 
by their rabid denunciations of all communists, Stalinist or otherwise.

But one hardly needs those parallels after the flag-waving hysterical 
patriotism including by liberals after 9/11. The Democrats questioning the war 
in Iraq now were off by 1/millionth of a millimeter from the Republicans in 
pushing from that war because the liberal line then -- and now -- is that Islam 
is the new Communism that must be defeated. And their temporary refinding of 
the right of some to some civil liberties disappears quickly when someone like 
Ward speaks. They don't just facilitate attacks on us, they are part and parcel 
of the system's machine fostering those attacks.
