[Marxism] Breaking News: Subway Workers in Buenos Aires Vote to Strike for 24 Hours

A friend of mine, the divinely beautiful comrade D,
has sent me an e-mail, which follows:

Hola Yosef,

Como estas? Hace mucho tiempo que no te escribo.

Te cuento que en Buenos Aires hoy se declaró la huelga
del subterraneo por 24 horas (despues de 4 dias de
huelgas escalonadas por horas, 2,3,4...) Mañana vamos
a ir a las estaciones terminales de todas las lineas a
difundir el panfleto de los trabajadores y llevar
nuestro periódico. Hoy los trabajadores se reunieron
con la empresa, la reunion fue un fracaso, por la
noche las asambleas de los trabajadores votaron la
huelga! Vamos a ver que resulta mañana.

The gist of it is that: Today [Tuesday] in Buenos
Aires a 24-hour subway strike was declared (after 4
days of "terraced" strikes: 2 hours, then 3 hours,
then 4 hours . . .). Tomorrow [Wednesday] we will go
to the [subway] terminal stations [maybe the end
points of all the different lines?] to distribute the
workers' pamphlet and our newspaper. Today the workers
met with management, the meeting was a failure,
tonight the workers' assemblies voted for the strike!
We'll see what happens tomorrow.
