Lou, I'm far from certain this was written by Ted Glick. I went back
to some of his Future Hope columns. The style is quite different.
Now, I'm no Don Foster, but it simply does not sound like Ted Glick.
Also check this: "Lynne Serpe, a widely-respected, dedicated and
organizationally-skilled Green Party member, began working as the
interim campaign manager. Dean Myerson, former GPUS Political
Director, played an active role, ******as did Ted Glick of New
Jersey,****** Holly Hart of Iowa, Ginny Case of California, John
Rensenbrink of Maine and Blair Bobier of Oregon." (**** emphasis
mine).

This looks like a general face saving statement written by some
scribblers assembled in a Green cave somewhere, intended to boost
the morale of the troops and put a sheen of respectability over a
dismal performance. Then some sacrificial lamb had to "author it"...

In any case, the conclusion is quite telling:

"The Green Party can use its increased visibility and credibility to push
for a progressive agenda that includes instant runoff voting, public
financing of elections, an end to the U.S. occupation of Iraq, a clean
energy revolution to address our dangerous fossil fuel addiction,
universal health care and other needed reforms."

**and other needed reforms...**

So here we are, back into reformism! (Or maybe that's where they
always were...)

As we say in French, "Mieux vaut rire que pleurer."

Sincerely,
