Well, it seems if I am stupid for thinking the Soviets betrayed the Kurds in 
'46 -- and the Azerbaijanis -- so is Suresh. So too are the followers of the 
Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan and the bourgeois (academic and CIA) 
sources I've found so far on the net. More on this after I've researched it 
more thoroughly. (This whole Mahabad episode was new to me but not the 
Azerbaijani betrayal, so I wasn't surprised to learn they were all of a 
Stalinist piece.)
