However, Austin Murphy, in his book The Triumph of Evil, wrote:

^In the fanatical Reagan years the estimates were all over the map – up
to 60 million by one columnist, but has anyone seen any documentation to
support deaths by Stalin of over a million, let alone Margolis's
fanatical claim of 30 million death warrants being issued? *
