Theodore (Ted) Allen published several essays and a summary of his
two-volume work, The Invention of the White Race, in Cultural Logic.
And in the same issue of CL that contains the summary of Invention,
there is also featured an interview with Allen. To read the summary of

The back issue index of CL lists Allen's other contributions to the
journal, including an essay review of a book by David Roediger and an
article on the 2000 census. The interview with Allen contains within it
a link to a paper by Allen on affirmative action. Finally, CL will
publish a paper that Allen submitted to us several months ago on the
