Hmmm. Is a "do your own think centrism" different than a
well-disciplined centrism? If it isn't, then you're conflating a lack
of discipline with centrism and discipline with revolutionism. That
requires a real selective view of the evidence, if not tunnel vision,
or, perhaps, a religious iconography.
Realizing that words won't convince anyone on this kind of an issue, I
just hope that people are continually testing their assumptions about
these questions.
