Of course the absurd thing about this editorial is that the Times fails to
mention that everything they write about the "coalition of the bought and
coerced" was COMPLETELY obvious from day one, yet neither they nor any other
ruling class organ breathed a word of that truth at a time when it had any
relevance to stopped the then-impending war. And if they're hoping that
their sudden awakening to reality will in some way put an end to the war
now, they certainly don't mention that.

Something about having their cake and eating it too comes to mind, atlhough
I'm not sure why.
