Below are Martin Luther King Day activities, two talks next week by the
signatories of the Geneva Accords and an Inauguration Day march. Please
come if you are in Colorado

Monday, January 17, Anti-war contingent at the Martin Luther King Marade
in Denver. Join us to speak out for an end to the war in Iraq, as MLK
would have done. There is a rally at Denver City Park at 9 a.m. and a
march at 10 a.m. About the Vietnam War, MLK said "For the sake of hundreds
of thousands trembling silently under our violence, I cannot be silent".
Carpooling from Boulder at 8 a.m. sharp at the Table Mesa Park and Ride,
at Table Mesa and I-36. Come help make signs on Friday, January 14 from
1-6 p.m. and on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rocky Mountain
Peace and Justice Center, 205 Canyon, Boulder.
Monday, January 17 MLK Day Celebration Activities in Boulder Theater, near
14th and Pearl Streets 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Rally, children's activities,
music, teach-ins and films. Free.
January 18-20 MLK Symposium "Revitalizing the Spirit of Resistance,
Activism & Service", CU Boulder. Workshops, speakers, music, etc. More

Israeli and Palestinian Signatories of Geneva Accord to Speak in Boulder
and Denver
>From Jan. 18-20, 2005, Dr. Menachem Klein, an Israeli political science
professor, and Dr. Nazmi Jubeh, a Palestinian professor of history,
archeology and Islamic culture, will present several public lectures on
the Geneva Accord in the Denver-Boulder area. The Geneva Accord is an
unofficial peace settlement that was negotiated by a group of leading
Israelis and Palestinians, including the two speakers.
Dr. Klein and Dr. Jubeh will be speaking on the Geneva Accords in Boulder
on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005, at 7:30 p.m. at the Chemistry Building, room
140, on the University of Colorado-Boulder campus. This event is sponsored
by Priority Peace, Colorado Jews for a Just Peace, CU School of the
Americas Watch and the Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center. For

On Wednesday, Jan. 19, at 7:00 p.m., Dr. Klein and Dr. Jubeh will appear
at the Grand Hall of the Iliff School of Theology, located at the corner
of University and Iliff on the University of Denver campus. This talk is
sponsored by Iliff Justice and Peace Studies, the Institute for the Study
of Israel in the Middle East, and Priority Peace. For information, call

On Thursday, Jan. 20, at 1:00 p.m., Dr. Klein and Dr. Jubeh will speak at
the Tivoli Turnhall on the Auraria Campus in Denver. This presentation is

Peace, Metro State Student Activities, and CU-Denver Student Life. For
