Ethnographic?

Maybe Kurds vs. Arabs is an ethnographic issue, in the same way that 
Chicano vs. Okie could sometime be.

But Sunni vs. Shia is not more ethnographic than Roman Catholic vs. 
Calvinist.

It would be interesting, indeed, to draw such an "etnographic" map 
for, say, Germany.
