Re: [Marxism] Michael Moore decline continues

That said, as I argued at the time, working people are entitled not be
slaughtered in their workplaces...not by their bosses...not by
terrorists who say they're doing it because they hate those bosses (but
who are also, in this case, in business with those same bosses). I
don't see a contraction between my opposing the murder of working people
in Baghdad and those in NYC.

Conversely, the villains in all this have earned lots of asskicking on
all sides....

And isn't revolution in the end supposed to be this huge kick in the ass of
the oppresors?

I mean, some of the critique is clearly based upon a pacifist aversion to
violence, of the "kick in the ass macho mentality". But hey, who ever your
Daddy-O is, they all kicked ass, Luxembourg, Lenin, Trotsky, Stalin, Mao,
Che, Fidel, Chavez etc et al.

Osama bin Laden was our enemy in 1980 and he is our enemy today. I am a
revolutionary double defeatist in this one. And MM is closer to that view as
a liberal, than apparently many "marxists" on this list.

A revolutionary program in the USA today requires we address the fact that
AL Qaeda murdered 3,000 workers. Period. I of course disagree with Moore's
naive "special forces" arguement, but only in form, not content. We need to
gulag Osama yesterday, preferably in the same cell with Dubya.

sks
