I was talking recently to a Croatian woman (ethnically Serb) who's lived in
London for the last 10 years or so - she genuinely argues that the
conditions in communist Yugoslavia were better than those in Britain
nowadays (and she's no fool nor naive, nor in a particularly uncomfortable
situation here).

Anyone have much experience or thoughts on the distinct socialist model in
Yugoslavia?
