Fwd: [Marxism] Forwarded from Stan Goff RE: Letter from "the Heretic, " a GI stationed in Iraq

Joaquín Bustelo <jbustelo@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> relayed message from Stan Goff:

Most of what Goff wrote, I can agree with. Organizations that organize around
single issues are not revolutionary organizations. My problem with Goff is his
apparant contention that revolutionary organizations shouldn't try to recruit
or sell their press. To anyone who has read Goff's latest book "Full Spectrum
Disorder" he has a prejudice against national organizations. He rightly
criticizes the mainstream press, but then laments the existence (existence NOT
content) of the Left press. He can't have it both ways. I say to him the same
thing I would say to anyone who doesn't want to belong to a revolutionary
organization of the vanguard variety-Fine, but don't trash those who do. Goff
