Not a debate but a clarification:

Yes, and Christians and Muslims govern the same for *their*
constituents. The point is that there is no civil authority over things
like marriage, and inter-religious marriage is almost impossible
without a conversion of one party to the marriage.

Orthodox Jewish law does not govern immigration, which is basically
exclusive to Jews, but Jews as defined by the Law of Return, not the
Orthodox sector of Israeli society. If it was, not a Russian Jew would
be allowed in to Israel since they are 99% secular non-orthodox
(including not be circumcised).

Orthodox Jewish Law does only matters for conversion TOO Judaism, not
conversions in general.
