Yes. This is what destroyed the Socialist-Register list. A Zionist got
on the list, and though several of us begged people _not_ to reply to
her, half a dozen posters just HAD to reply to her baits. The list died
because of it. She by herself could not have destroyed the list, but
only the radicals who couldn't let a troll go unanswered, even though it
was utterly pointless to answer her.

The Science for the People List is unmoderated and really obnoxious
people keep posting to it. But most on the list have learned to simply
filter them out, and the list stumbles along with some useful stuff
every so often.
