Jenny von Westphalen.
This doesn't bode well for teh accuracy of teh article. Jenny von
Westphalen's father was a neighbour of the Marx family in Trier and
acted as a sort of mentor for the young Karl. Jenny and Karl knew each
other long before Karl went to Berlin - I believe they were even engaged
before he went there.
I agree that the Wheen stuff is much more interesting.
