I look at it this way: first, by destroying Iraq's infrastructure, the
they/the U.S. are severely the Iraqis people]from their past --
historically a common, and quite successful, ploy used of
colonizers to insert their hegemony . The destruciton is also all-so-
wonderful for military contractors who will continue to make a killing
(pardon the pun) the longer the occupation is prolonged. Then there
is also the lucrative "reconstruction" contracts being offered to
Bush cronies. And best of of all from a ideologically standpoint of
the imperiaists, is the contribution of Bush and company towards
the "reconstruction efforts", which is, for Bush, simply great PR.
I'm sure even the most staunch "Democrats" would applaud such
efforts.

Everyway you look at it, pulvarizing the infrastructure is simply
great business for the imperialists.
