Bin Laden Video May Have Helped Elect Bush: Fidel Castro

Havana, Nov 17 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Fidel Castro said that
Bin Laden's statements three days before the US presidential elections
could have been something subtly prepared to favor the reelection of
President George W. Bush.

The Cuban leader said that estrange things happened in the US elections
as the telecast of a video showing the head of the terrorist
organization Al Qaeda talking.

Experts think the video may have caused a strong reaction on voters at
the time to decide the elections.

"Someday we will know the truth of where Bin Laden was located and who
contacted and persuaded him to make such statement three days before the

elections," Fidel Castro said during a TV program.

The president denounced the huge media propaganda that confuses a great
number of US people. Fidel Castro highlighted that most of the voters
have been expressing their disagreement with the US government policy.

Cuba is facing nowadays a decadent imperialism, fatally wounded and
terminally ill, but warned that this imperialism still can kill,
eliminate entire nations and commit all type of crimes but will not be
able to survive, the Cuban president warned.

Fidel Castro considered that the US Empire will not have the major
control over humanity in the future. A great number of forces that will
contribute to its disappearance are already within the United States, he

affirmed.
