[Marxism] Moral Values and exit polls
Subsequent to the poll result showing that 80% who cited "moral values" had
voted for Bush, many journalists fell over themselves to explain that the
poll result was only a matter of question wording, and that the voters who
checked this option of course had many different values, and so on. David
Brooks in the NY Times indeed referred in an article on 6 November to "the
values myth".
The shocker as far as I am concerned is that people who voted for Bush cited
"moral values" at all. The man is guilty of complicity in mass murder and
mass terrorism, and violating international law. It's really very simple. No
amount of unctious, slimy, preachy christian clap-trap can hide that.
