I remember watching the film of this " shock session " in a psych class at
Brooklyn College in 1968. How frightening it was that most of those asked to administer
the shocks went along and never questioned authority, which was the point of the
experiment. A certain percentage of the human population will blindly follow their
leaders, even if it takes them off the cliff.I relearned this in the late 1970s with the
degeneration of the SWP and the sheep loyally and unquestioningly following Barnes and co.

Hmmmm. I remember running into George Basley, an ex-SWP'er who was
working with me and Camejo and the rest of the North Star Network back
in 1981. He explained this way. He said that if you throw a frog into a
pot of violently boiling water, it will jump out immediately. But if you
put that same frog into a pot of cold water and increase the temperature
very slowly until it reaches the boiling point, the frog will not jump
out and will be boiled alive. That was the way he looked at the
transformation of the SWP.
