Take that back.

In most arguments on this list I'd tend to back Tom (partly since we
come from the same political tradition), but on this one I definitely
have to part company with him. His comparison was an insult to all muppets.

I must say that Kerry always struck me as a cross between Hermann
Munster and one of the Woodentops (a long-forgotten kids programme - for
very small kids - on the BBC in the 1950s and 1960), except Hermann M.
and the Woodentops had much more charisma.
