Appeals to authority--whether to "black Marxists" or the CPUSA--begs the
question as to what they mean by "nation". I think arguments about
meaning are more important than the words attached to it.
Jurriaan has rightly clarified what the traditional idea of a nation is.
Fred Feldman has argued that blacks in the U.S. constitute a
historically particular circumstance.
I would like to read whether Lou Paulsen agrees with Fred on this and on
the political conclusions he associates with this specification
"nation."
