[Marxism] RE: Too damn colonialist for words
Hi,
Surely any resistance agains the capitlaist system at all, if it is not
massively popular and/or does not embrace vast swathes of the working class,
can be deemed 'ultra-leftist'? The question should not be 'was black panther
party ideology not ultraleftist' but 'in what way did black panther party
theory and strategy develop out of the concrete historical situation their
social base faced under a racist pig state, and what were the real
possibilities and options presented to that social base'? I would tend to
err on the side of caution anyhow when criticising such a movement. Perhaps
if Melvin P were around he could enlighten the discussion further (far as I
remember he was no great fan of the BPP).
