I did see a few states where Nader's vote added to the Democrats could have
pushed the Democrats over Bush. But all in all, you're right.

You don't really think the Democrats will bother with that little detail,
do you? :-) They're going to need a scapegoat to obscure the fact that the
DLC's strategy of running to the middle is completely bankrupt. Given their
dying grassroots and the fact that they're funded by more or less the same
people as the Republicans, excuses for this fiasco will be sought quickly.

But to me, the real question is whether the left can take advantage of the
Democrats demise. Will we be able to unite behind some party, put in four
solid years of organizing, and be prepared to offer a solid alternative in
2008?
