- Thread-topic: [Marxism] Commies for Bush
At the beginning of this month, a member of "Communists for Kerry" was
quoted by Fox News as if it were a real, pro-Kerry group:
766>
The funniest thing occured the next day, when Fox issued this
retraction:
"FOXNews.com's reporter asked the group's representative several times
whether the group was legitimate and supporting the Democratic
candidate,
and the spokesman insisted that it was. Communists for Kerry is, in
fact, a
parody group."
The reporter didn't just ask, but asked "several times"! How much more
thorough can you get?
Curiously, Fox never mentioned that the REAL Communist Party IS
supporting
Kerry.
Response: My partner says that like having to endure some pain before
and after a surgery that may save your life and bring to light all the
contradictions that led to the pathologies, so perhaps real Commies
should be endorsing Bush with slogans like "Commies for Bush; Let the
Dialectic Unfold, Let the Games Begin, Let Raw Capitalism Reveal itself
for What it is, Bring it all down now." or "Commies for Bush: No
Aspirins for Cancer, No Skin Cream for Syphillitic Rashes, Let the Moron
Bring the System Down ASAP". Or "Commies for Bush: Full Speed Ahead on
the Titanic; Liberals Can Only Tinker with the arrangements of the Deck
Chairs"
