[Marxism] Hijab

I need something clarified here. My understanding is that the Hijab is a head 
scarf NOT a veil. The reason I mention this is that the Left press in the US in 
contradictory on this. Sometimes it's referred to as a head scarf, other times 
as a veil. It can't be both. Is the French government banning the wearing of 
head scarfs or veils in public schools? There's a big difference here.
