An old communist told me a story about the difference between a
communist and a social democrat. After Hitler came to power and
consolidated his rule he lined up several revolutionary against the wall
to be executed. Moments before the bullet flew the communist snatched
off his blindfold and screamed "you bastard nazi's . . . we'll continue
the fight in hell. Workers of the World Unite!"
The social democrat standing besides him reached out and grabbed the
communiust arm and said, "Be quiet all you going to do is get us in more
trouble."
