Ian Pace writes: "All of this seems to come down to a basic argument: does
one believe that social democracy (which Nader and Camejo espouse) is a
progressive route towards socialism, or a means to give a longer staying
power to capitalism, by giving it a make-over?"
I'm starting to get really bored with this discussion. Like this inanity
that Nader and Camejo espouse something called "social democracy."
"Social democracy" as a political movement has a specific meaning and
configuration today. This idea that Camejo and Nader are for "social
democracy" mostly shows that the writer has no understanding of what Camejo
and Nader are trying to do.
