[Marxism] Afghanistan?
Re recent requests for info on Afghanistan under commie rule: Fred
Halliday in 1980 wrote a very detailed piece in New Left Review on the
evolution of the regime and its leadership, problems they had, why things
went to hell, etc. He hadn't sold out yet to the point where it affected
his reporting. It's WAAAY too large to post here and you have to be a
subscriber to access it (which I am) -- suggestions?
P.S. The latest issue has a lead article by Cockburn once again attacking
the ABB phenom.
