[Marxism] Woody Allen Speaks His Mind on Bush

Woody Allen is an artist, not a politician. As a humanist concerned with
people's vulnerabilities and what they do with them, he is certainly on the
Left. The good thing about him - regardless of whether you like his films
and writings - is that he can both take himself seriously and laugh at
himself. That is an important relativising quality for a political culture
to have, which prevents it from degenerating into dogmatic fanaticism. Real
fanatics are unable to smile at themselves.
