I'm glad the article was posted also.

Section 8 Housing is a small but bubbling issue in California, also, and not in
a good way. The right-wing has been able to start to stir up the more affluent
sections of the working class against the poorer sections with a "YOU are
paying for these welfare rif-raffs rent". Like Proposition 13 from almost 30
years ago, I see this being a succesful campaign if it ever gets to a
legislative or referendum stage of struggle against the poor.
