I have been trying to find it on the Internet, but every reference is
to this article, which itself only refers to "an interview Saturday."

Who was the interview with and where is it printed or where was it
shown?

There is something similar from July 1, just after Hussein was
captured, and it is clear that this is Rubin's and Kerry's position,
but it is not identical.

BLITZER: So President Bush did the right thing by going to war against
Saddam Hussein?
RUBIN: Well, I think we all believe that we had to hold Saddam Hussein
accountable. Had it been done a better way, I believe we would be in
better shape.
I believe, in all probability, no matter what the United States did,
Saddam Hussein would not have complied. But had we waited just a few
more months, we could have had the world on our side, we could have had
a realistic plan to deal with the post-Saddam situation, and we could
have had international legitimacy that's been sorely lacking. And we
wouldn't have had the chaos, the instability and the difficulties of
the last year. So this was done the wrong way, but it was the right
thing.
BLITZER: That's basically, David, the John Kerry position, the
criticism of the president. What do you make of it?
