I was overjoyed to him frankly admit it as well.  Since sending this

What Bush claimed the authority right to to invade preemptively
countries that are no threat to the U.S. . . .   Kerry said:  "YES, I
WOULD HAVE VOTED FOR THE AUTHORITY.  I BELIEVE IT WAS THE RIGHT
AUTHORITY FOR A PRESIDENT TO HAVE."

What they are discussing is nothing less than the kingly right to make
life-and-death, war-and-peace decisions over his subjects.  It is
directly contrary to the letter and the spirit of the Constitution of
the United States and every other major document foundational to the
American republic.

None of them seem to understand that people have fought revolutions over
such questions.
