[Marxism] Wal-Mart Democracy

Wal-Mart workers in Thompson, Manitoba, have rejected union
presentation again. They are deadly scared. They didn't want to lose
their minimum wage jobs. They knew that their store would be closed if
they voted otherwise.

People in Canada are so terrified. They don't want democracy. The only
thing they want is job, even if it is minumum wage job. They want to
survive.

Democracy, they say, is a part of history, like job security or
workers' rights. Slavery is now roaming in workplaces in Canada.

Don't you like to work for minimum wage? Okey, then! There are millions
of immigrants who would sacrifice one of their arms to get a job in
Canada. They could work for less than minimum wages. Moreover, most of
them hold at least a master degree.

This is the end of democracy. If people are forced to choose between a
slice of bread and democracy, most people, unfortunately, go for bread.

This is the Wal-Mart democracy...
