RE: [Marxism] How the Bombing of Hiroshima was reported in 1945
With all of the critical remarks I have made about the
Socialist Workers Party, of which I was a member for
many years, and which has obviously lost its compass,
I will never forget THE MILITANT's prescient headline
in response to Washington's atomic bombing of Japan:
A banner headline, across the top of the full-format
newspaper: "THERE IS NO PEACE"
Walter Lippmann
August 6, 2004
"Hiroshima Day"
