It's also an oversimplification to say "Take away a man's need for bread
and you take away his need for revolution." As the old song goes, "It
is bread we fight for, but we fight for roses, too."

On this--as on whether Bush or Kerry will be best for us--events do not
require from us common agreement for common action. We'll just have to
agree to disagree on them, Scot.
